About Child Care Lookup Search for a child care agency Child Care Lookup was created in 2006 as a parent resource for information on child care and parenting. The site was developed and is maintained by Theresa Hitt. She is a licensed counselor in the state of Kansas with graduate degrees in counseling psychology, child development and child life activies therapy. Theresa and her husband have three children living at home. Many other people are involved in reviewing books or toys, keeping the discussion forums active and making recommendations for improvements. A special thanks goes to all the volunteers that keep this community alive.
